SPYG*
short for “st.paul youth group” this term came into existence during a sunday afternoon in the summer of 2001 when the obsessive counter-strike playing members of the youth group were brainstorming a clan name for themselves in the comforts of their second home, cnc internet cafe. often pr-nounced “spig” or “spy-gee,” the correct pr-nunciation is as simple as reciting the letters themselves, “es-pee-why-gee.” this youth group came into existence long before the founding of the name “spyg” at a korean-catholic church located in desplaines, st. paul chong ha sang korean catholic mission.
