an alter ego of the famous indie rock folk fusion (irff) band great moon. according to the official band website:
from a black hole in the universe, commander starlight omega 1 was born. his quest is to fight the everpresent danger in the deadly oceans of the galaxy. he lives off the sun’s rays and thrives off of his deadly excapades. he is our universe’s savior and will live forever to protect lifeforms of this galaxy. he has formed starlight cadets and the ocean deep treachery to let his quest be known and to straight up jam out.
