Starlit Ocean
a progressive electronica project formed in tennessee in 2010. its sole member as of this writing is douglas burgess, who provides the programming, synths, keyboards, and occasional voice effects via a vast array of music software, including magix programs and pro tools. impossible to pin down to just one genre, starlit ocean has cited dozens of musicians, bands, and projects as influences, including armin van buuren, trans-siberian orchestra, owl city, rush, dream theater, tiesto, sunn o))), and ayreon. simply search “starlit ocean” on soundcloud, facebook, or soundclick and listen. there’s a little something for everyone beneath the cosmic waves.
