Subtle Ugly
posing for a photograph in a manner that is either intentionally or unintentionally unattractive. the person in the photograph appears as though he or she was trying to look attractive, but failed.
however, the ugliness of the photograph cannot be instantly or overtly noticeable. instead, someone viewing the photograph will have to look twice to figure out what is off about it.
“jefferson, i have a question. did you go subtle ugly for this picture? because you don’t look quite up to your usual, gorgeous standards.”
posing in a picture with the intention of looking ugly while also looking like you’re trying to pose glamorously.
nick decided he didn’t care much about the picture he was posing for and decided to go subtle ugly for it.
