derives from the latin language… meaning, with (highest) honor
one may receive this phrase on a diploma from college.
the act of two floor hockey sticks vigorously attacking one another on a school gym floor. on occasion, the weilders of the sticks will shout the name out as a battlecry before/whilst and after the act.
“today, some t-rd named -insert name here- decided that we shall perform the act of summa c-m laude right in the middle of the gym floor.”
