the state of being non-exclusive
state of being friends for only appearance and other social events i.e. little 500 weekend or weekly lunches
not to be confused with the antonym :friends
duties-
-no phone calls
-only waving when necessary
-sitting together only when mutual friends are present
-minimal text messaging
-having alternate schedules
-non-acknowledgment at social events, parties, movie nights, study groups, probates, malls, kiosk, etc.
-always provide proof and reason for your “surface-necessity friendship”
