as opposed to being ‘weathered’ – to be old, not any good – ‘sweathered’ is the glimmer of hope in a dark, dark, smelly room. when the chips are down, you’re cornered and there are no signs of victory. suddenly you play the trump card. underdog? not anymore. “that’s sweathered!”
