Sylvia Plath


she was a poet, (wrote a novel as well & did short storys) but she advanced the genre of confessional poetry. & is well known for her poetry.

her first sucicide attempt she crawled under her house and took an overdose of sleeping pills. she was sent to a mental inst-tution.

she later killed herself by sticking her head in th oven with the gas turned on. alot of people think that she didnt really intend to kill herself.

sylvia plath wrote storys novels & poems that parelled her mental breakdowns and suicide attempts, and she died with her head in an oven.
1. literal: to screw a chick who has her head in an oven. (use electric ovens for practice and gas for game-time).

2. figurative: to screw a chick who is severely depressed.
my girlfriends been down in the dumps ever since she failed her midterm. i’ve still been sylvia plathin’ her though.
