a folder in the directory c:\windows. it contains the drivers and startup information and other important stuff required to run windows on your computer. if you delete it your computer will get bricked (turned into a useless brick).

system32 is a folder usually located in c/windows/ that is needed for windows to work. do not get tricked into deleting it.
