this term describes the driving tactic whereby a person momentarily, and intentionally, moves their vehicle into another person’s lane. this situation creates the possibility of being side-swiped, thus generally causing the threatened driver to slow down, thereby creating a gap in the traffic suitable for occupation by the offending driver.
