a gift frpm the gods on a hot, humid day! tarator is a cold soup made with yogurt, dill, garlic, cuc-mbers, and paprika, very popular with bulgarians and albanians. a related soup is cacik (turkish and armenian, also served cold), and a related sauce, very common for gyros, is greek tsatsiki. there is also an armenian yogurt soup, served hot with barley or a similar grain, called tanabour.
