when you find yourself always texting your boyfriend or girlfriend first but stop for as long as you can in order to see how long it would take for them to text you first. usually ends up with the intended partner cutting off all communications because they arent interested in how you feel or how your day is going or what you are doing. said partner is usually only interested in s-x but leads you to think otherwise.
kate knew she was getting played after she decided to go on a text break and adam forgot she existed.
