the counter-strike effect
a loss in interest in casual gaming in t-tles such as “call of duty” or “grand theft auto v”. this effect is caused by being introduced to “casual compet-tive” gaming from t-tles like “counter-strike”, “rainbow six siege”, and etc.
i loved to play casual games before i played counter-strike: global offensive.. now its all i can play.. thats the counter-strike effect for you.
