The DF


an abbreviation of dancefloor, origininates from teen lingo in australia. very popular among elder teenagers and young adults especially those that frequent pubs and clubs. a much more contemporary version of the ‘d-floor’ – which is a word that should never be said out loud unless you wanted to permenantly socially isolate yourself. ‘the df’ is socially acceptable and is not considered to be lame.
