the freak out kid
the freak out kid is the subject of a series of amateur youtube vlogs called, “greatest freak out ever.” the actor rants at his computer because he’s being “betrayed” during online gaming; yelling at his mom during his attempts at cooking; arguing with his grandma about what to watch on tv; whacking a truck with a bat because the gift would make him look like a “r-t-rd” to drive it; throwing chairs in a pool because he’s afraid of drowning; and that he’s “better than you.” the narrative of the character is that he’s unable to do anything normal without acting like a victim of the universe.
even though he was eventually exposed as an actor by his mom, the freak out kid videos are a mix of funny and deeply disturbing because everyone has known someone that acts like him because of online games or just because he’s a drama queen.
