The Jukebox Romantics
a five piece punk / ska outfit from south westchester and long island. formed in 2008, they gained quick notoriety amongst the local scene due to their busy schedule of near constant shows. this dedication and effort did not go unnoticed, after releasing their first full length self t-tled alb-m they were signed by altercation records. being signed to a label opened up even more opportunities for the jbrs, as several music videos, interviews in magazines such as amp, and shows with big name acts like madball, murphy’s law and the misfits started to follow. their success continues to accelerate after having several notches on their proverbial belts come in the name of the vans warped tour, the south by southwest festival, and the fest in gainesville, florida. with a soph-m-ric alb-m release expected in early spring of 2011, the jukebox romantics are to put it simply, on their f-cking way.
