the number of men compared to females. the ratio should be taken in to consideration to avoid a sausage fest.

the balance between the level of attractiveness and the level of -sshole-ness. in short, the hotter you are the more tolerable and common d-ck-like behavior is. however, there are exceptions. specifically those who seem to have a distorted self image and think they are the sh-t when in reality they simply look like sh-t. lower levels of attractiveness can be compensated with: good sense of humor, intelligence, or kindness. but the ratio must remain balanced.
john does not adhere to the ratio, he’s fat and ugly and yet he continues to act like a douchebag. he is upsetting the ratio and is thus disgustingly unattractive.
“the ratio” is a fundamental rule of life, relating to the direct correlation between the attractivenes and -ssholiness of a male. with “the ratio,” degrees of attractiveness = degrees of -ssholiness. men who are uglier must act nicer to attract a mate and men who are more attractive already attract them, so they act like -ssholes. exceptions to “the ratio” include men who perceive themselves to be more attractive than they actually are (these individuals usually fail to get a mate). other exceptions include males with distorted self-images who consider themselves less attractive than they actually are, so they display kindness as well (these usually are very desirable as mates).
