The White Album
the most commonly used term for the beatles’ ninth studio alb-m, self-named, “the beatles.” the beatles is, quite literally, the greatest alb-m ever released. the cover depicts no graphics, no background, only the words, “the beatles,” slightly raised, embossed, in the bottom right at a very slight angle. the alb-m consists of two discs.

–revolution 9 is an avant garde piece created by john, the other three fought desperately to keep the track off of the alb-m. this piece is described by many as, eerie, disturbing, not musical, hiding a secret, and even evil, or scary.
the beatles was marked as the tenth greatest alb-m of all time in the rolling stone’s 500 greatest alb-ms of all time.
