Threewave
threewave is a formerly popular quakeworld mod that made ctf mainstream in shooters throughout the late 90’s. the mod is notorious for its usage of table-turning runes, a grappling hook, and an explicit objective. to avoid the problems of people “choosing” an offensive or defensive squad within their team, there have been suggestions for the one-flag variant, but zoid, creator of the mod, et al. didn’t start listening until team arena.
