trip-s. is a term used by local skateboarders on the southern coast of western australia which refers to a weekly event at the albany skateboard track; the sunday skate session. the session starts at three pm every sunday; hence the ‘trip’ in trip-s, also gesturing a link to the three ‘s’s in sunday skate session. trip-s. is widely appreciated in the area as it brings together local skateboarders and endorses the saviour of the dying culture of ‘old style’ skateboarding.
