trollgaze
the act of watching or viewing content, often on the internet, which you expect or already know will be bad. consuming media with the expectation that you will be critical, annoyed, or outraged.
rebecca black’s “friday” is a major example of an object of the trollgaze, as described in the article which coined the term.
