true + ridiculous. used to describe something that, while sounding too outlandish to be plausible, is sadly likely to be true. also used to describe something that is, in fact, truly ridiculous.
when i heard that the jury awarded the burglar for injuries he sustained while breaking into the defendant’s house, i knew it was trudiculous.
