a term that refers to donald trump’s use of twitter to hit back at countries that criticize him for ignoring diplomatic protocol, or that have a huge trade surplus with the united states.
it’s everyone’s guess whether the president-elect will continue his twitter diplomacy once he takes office; however, one thing for sure is that under the new trump administration, it won’t be business as usual.
