to respond in such a way to a question that the question remains unanswered. while at the same time the one responding claims to have answered appropriately.
1. asker: “im going to the store, do you want anything?”
responder: “maybe.”
responder is said to have unsponded.
2. asker: “do you like lasagna?”
responder: “yes and no.”
