in gaming: the experience gain and related increase in capability of a unit. typically used in strategy games.
a level 3 veterancy tank is harder to spot, and has better accuracy than a fresh tank.
you should try to keep your helicopters alive, because each level of veterancy makes their fire more accurate at range, and their special abilities recharge faster.
