1. a stretched-wheelbase oldsmobile mid-size station wagon produced from 1964 to 1972 and as an up-line trim package on the 1973-77 cutl-ss station wagon. famous for the tinted roof gl-ss over the second row of seating and the smaller tinted gl-ss pieces over the cargo-area side windows from 1964-72. used regularly on the fox television shows “that ’70s show” and “fringe.”

a mid-sized station wagon made by oldsmobile from 1964-1977. noted for it’s cool dome like skylight over the back p-ssenger seats, and it’s small gl-ss panels on the top of the rear windows that curved into the roof. 1964-1967 models had a some what blocky shape, and 1968-1972 models had the popular c-ke bottle body style. but in 1973 it was downsized and lost it’s unique roof treatment. while still an attractive looking wagon with it’s woody trim, it just looked like every other gm mid-size wagon at that time, and never got much attention. it was axed in 1977 and replaced with a downsized cutl-ss model.
in the tv series “that 70’s show” the character eric foreman owns a gold 1969 vista cruiser.
