in reference to a mythical mak, who appears at the height of the steps of hong kong’s volar club at the height of the partying hours. if he deems you worthy, with a whispered command and a wave of his hand, the crowd parts like the red sea giving you un-bstructed access past velvet rope and into the club.
as the volar moses disappears, the crowd reforms, crushing any pretenders in its wake.
