Walden University

a marketing company masquerading as a school. anytime anyone says anything bad about them online a bunch of fake people, who all sound exactly the same, show up to defend it.

the school is the bottom of the barrel of accredited colleges. it is the community college of online schools. the only reason to go to walden university is because you can’t get in anywhere else.
this review will never be number #1 on urban dictionary because walden university staff members are paid to scour the internet and purge honest information about their school.
an online diploma mill masquerading as a school. they started as small non-accredited college selling degrees through the mail and have since graduating to sending people spam messages about their graduate programs. everyone who applies will be accepted as they don’t require a gre, sat, or a pulse. if you can pay, you can get yourself a walden education.

their professors are all part-time employees who are usually employed at other colleges at teach at walden for the extra money. all of their cl-sses are canned and don’t really require any real learning. just write papers and do the minimum and you’ll have a worthless degree in no time at all.

the people who run the small office in minneapolis, mn change regularly and are usually unhappy with their lives. the school goes through deans and heads of departments so quickly that even the staff jokes about it.

this is the college for anyone who wants to brag about having a degree while they’re restocking the shelves at target.
i worked at walden university for two years, finished my online mba with them, and still can’t get a job anywhere else. f-ck walden university.
one of those diploma mill schools that sends out junk mail to try to trick you into thinking that it is a real college.

in reality, they are a real school like a cubic zirconia is a real diamond. they are to colleges like showgirls is to fine cinema. if they were a food product, they would be a frozen tv dinner. attending walden university is like telling the world that your local community college was alright, but you just didn’t feel like studying that hard.

the only way that you could possibly go lower than walden university is if you didn’t go at all.
in my email today is three v–gr- spams, two about refinancing my house and one walden university spam email.
the only school dumb enough to advertise on a page that their ex-students call them a diploma mill, a marketing company masquerading as a school, worse than a community college and the bottom of the barrel of accredited colleges.

seriously, i don’t have anything against walden university. i would never go there, don’t know anyone who would and would never even consider it. but if you have no other choice, i guess that it’s slightly better than not going to college. just expect to be laughed at by most perspective future employers. i only found this page because it comes up in the top 5 google searches when you search college rankings or best colleges or something. weird eh?
look to the right, above or underneath this post – walden university is actually advertising on this page! now that is sad.
one of the oldest diploma mills. walden university = the degree is not worth the paper it is written on. walden university = you won’t get a job as a result of your education.
my half sister got all her degrees from online universities that were diploma mills. first, american public/american military university for her first two degrees then walden university for her ph.d. they accepted her credits from her community college days and gave her credit for “life experience.” so, she really only completed one year of education at apu/amu for her bachelors, then she completed barely a year for her masters. then, her sister (my other half sister) went to amu/apu shortly after and submitted the same work the other sister submitted. one of the two pursued her ph.d. at walden and thinks it was legitimate. later, she was laughed out of job interviews and figured out her program was not accredited and she wasted her time and money in the program, since no one will hire her. also, no one will accept her credits from walden university.

she claimed she was trying to be the first one in the family to get an education. i guess the type of education didn’t matter. i graduated from traditional colleges and universities and went on to get my law degree (a juris doctorate) and a post-doctoral degree (all from traditional schools where people knew me), and i got a very nice, fun, and high paying job. i guess she didn’t get the memo.
an accredited online university founded in 1970. the university offers bachelors, masters, and doctorate degrees.
i completed my college degree at walden university.
