a computer programming language that provokes more discussion of how it may be implemented, or how to overcome its built-in limitations, than of what useful programs can be written in it. an absorber of language w-nkage.
i think haskell may have supplanted lisp as the pre-eminent w-nklage. i have come to appreciate the fog of w-nklages for their power of keeping discussions of useful and potentially useful languages relatively free of w-nkage.
