a phrase coined from the tv show ‘nathan barley’ and noel fielding’s character ‘jones’. although used in the show to describe a piece of music, it has come to mean something is ‘above average’ or ‘well good’. similar to phrases such as ‘mint’, ‘sound’ and ‘bare good’.
