White Colombian
white colombians are very common, unlike most latin americans who tend to have indian and dark traits , people might be a little surprised with the ammount of white colombians, mostly in big cities like medellin, cali and the capital city: bogotá.
colombains aren’t mexicans, nor peruvians, nor guatemalans and so on. therefore colombians aren’t necessarily brown or have similar looks as their latin american counterparts. in fact, there are a lot more white genes in the colombian heritage since the spaniards first arrived in south america. many colombians get this a lot:
british guy: where are you from?
colombian: colombia
british guy: but you don’t look colombian, you look white!
this a perfect example of the misconception among people when generalizing typical latino traits.
