1. a slang term used to talked about the illness mononucleosis (mono). this disease is mostly contracted from saliva from one person to another by means of kissing or other acts. most common in teens and, oh yeah, wh-r-s.

2. any sickness that is contracted by wh-r–like acts.
person 1: katie isn’t looking so good today…
person 2: yeah, brad gave her the wh-r- flu.

girl: ugh i haven’t felt good since me and ken got together a couple nights ago.
other girl: sounds like someone has a case of the wh-r- flu!
