origin: derived from the terms “wi-fi” and “piracy”.
the act of using a remote company’s wi-fi network to avoid using all your limited data plan. for example; if you have the cheap version of the iphone’s data plan and need to get data on somebody else’s network / expense.
ah, you may very well have been a victim of wi-firacy.
