a softly padded helmet meant to keep those of less mental capacity free from self inflicted harm such as falling off ones high horse…originally spelled ‘wiffle-hat’ in honor of the ‘wiffle-ball-bat’ it was later re-spelled to accommodate the constant mispr-nunciation by those adorned by said wifylhat.
pr-nounced ‘wih-file-hat’.
