Wikirun
the action of searching wikipedia or sub wiki site for the sole purpose of a predetermined piece of information or article. only to find yourself clicking other imbeded links to other, sometimes unrelated wiki pages, repeating this action for multiple, sometimes dozens of pages. (a very much choose your own adventure styled approach.)
guy: “oh dude, last night i jumped on wikipedia to check out that new band i heard on the radio. i ended up doing a huge wikirun by the end of it. ended up going from iron & wine to tekken the movie with about a dozen wiki links in-between!”
friend: “so what was that song they played?”
guy: oh, i forget, i got sidetracked before i remembered to look”
friend: “idiot…”
