really cool media player. for one thing, it has all sorts of nice obscure plugins that play all my favorite old song formats (i.e., .sid, .gym) from, like, the c64 and the sega genesis.

winamp (not winamp or winamp, since it’s not windows-related (according to nullsoft)) is by far the most popular audio-player software for the windows platform.
while winamp 2.81 is close to perfection, i wouldn’t use that buggy r-t-rded winamp 3 if my life depended on it.
when used as a verb, it means to play a song in winamp.

a good and flexible program for playing sound files and videos. however, it has been known to cause the computer to freeze, or have a greater chance of freezing, which is why i don’t use it anymore.
“aww sh-t, my computer froze again while i was listening to this song in winamp!”
a half-decent media-player. doesn’t play module files very well.
