primarily refers to when someone completely owns a troll/idiot/bigot on social media. can also mean somebody posting a video, photo, comment or otherwise that “goes viral” due to the extremely high number of “likes”, “views”, “re-tweets” and whatever the snapchst/instagram equivalents are.
