a close cousin of the regular, gossip grapevine. however, workvine differs in so much as it’s confined to the realms of the work place. in the office environment information is usually p-ssed onto the workvine around vending / coffee machines and reception areas. company receptionists are amongst the finest purveyors of workvine gossip.
