started by joseph farah, worldnetdaily is a supposed news source, but they cite no references or sources. their stories appear as “news” on other media outlets, but worldnet is listed as the source. popularity seems to be exclusive to the radically-neoconservative, the “religious right” and others of their ilk. their stock-in-trade is misconstruing facts, blowing things all out of proportions, and out-and-out fabrication of their “news” stories.
basically, they do for bullsh-t what stonehenge did for rocks.
