XCOM syndrome
a condition in which, after logging many consecutive game hours of xcom: enemy unknown, the user begins to hallucinate seeing semi-transparent blue shields and half-shields in real-life cover items such as walls, counters, and cars.
dmitri rubbed his eyes and shook his head as blue shields tinged his view. after last night’s gaming binge, the xcom syndrome was starting to get to him.
