Yankvert
an infomercial usually hosted by an american. they usually appear to have just found this “life-changing” product and proclaim that it’s the best thing anybody has ever seen, ever. a yankvert also contains other members of the american public who have been paid to say how amazing the product is.
however, the product is usually terrible.
person 1: “awesome! i’ve always needed one of those ab-toning belts! it looks like it’ll actually buff me up! look at that ripped guy!”
person 2: “you know it’s just a yankvert right?”
person 1: “oh right, nevermind. i’ll go and do some real exercise…”
