Yapster
a person, usually in their early to mid 30s, who is too old to fully embrace the lifestyle of a modern age hipster (e.g. due to professional reasons, family life).
while holding on to some hipster-esque items, features or behaviors, the yapster at the same time extensively talks about hipsterism in an ostensibly pejorative way, usually to other yapster friends.
“lars has been drinking club mate all day while bad-mouthing his hipster neighbors. he is such a yapster!”
