YTE

a sad dying excuse for a theatre group, a way to make money of hopeful naive children. an organization that requires you pay around $400 to join after you audition, pay fees for stuff you bring in yourself, and the kid’s parents do all the work for the show and the director keeps all the extra money from ticket sales and extra fees and uses parent colunteers for everything to cut costs of employees. the students teach the directing, ch-r-ography and music, the director sits there and yell and gets a lot of free money. see scam
person#1 i paid $400 to get into yte!
person#2 dude, i’ve seen better set, sound, costumes, and lighting in my bathroom.
person#1 well, you are just jealous, i auditioned two monologues and two sogns to get in! it’s prestigious!
person#2 well it consists of 11 year olds sitting on sets where the audience must “use their imagination” after paying 10 bucks to get in.
person#1 but but… we have costumes!
person#2 notice how you paid a costume fee for clothes you brought from home.
person#1 well sh-t, i’m a dumb-ss…
person#2 the truth hurts…
