Zero to Ghetto
when under pressure or stress, quickly cranking up your att-tude and defensive posture to way over the top, well beyond what the situation calls for. for women, the equivalent of quickly removing your large earrings (usually with one swiftly ch-r-ographed move), then starting to swivel your neck back and forth while leaning forward. usually proceeded by the phrase “oh no you di’int” said with increasing loudness. all cultures and races are equally capable of unleashing this behavior. arm waving and finger pointing may be utilized to increase the effect. usage is frequently -ssociated with a short time interval (see example, below).
– “bro, did you see her reaction to that barista at starbuck’s?.”
– “whoa, zero to ghetto in .2 seconds, yo.”
