2nd function of Tan
a term also known as “inverse tan” involved with trignonometry used in mathematics.
utilized when trying to determine one angle of a (i.e.) right angle triangle.
involved with dividing the 2nd function of tan by the opposite and the adjacent numbers which normally would be given. (i.e. determine the angle d of this right angle triangle. opposite = 14 adjacent = 10 … tan-1 {14 divided by 10} angle d = your answer = 84.28)
also related to the 2nd function of sin and cos.
