a terrible situation or experience that occurs in your childhood life. it is usually really bad, and is something that is carried inside you forever, possibly making you anti-social or have a phobia of some kind.
1. being beaten
2. raped
3. death of family/friend
4. murder of family/friend
and more terrible things.
these are all examples of childhood traumas.
