Coming out of the wardrobe
a time in one’s life when he/she realizes and accepts that magic, santa claus, and any other fairytale-like belief is untrue. (a play on the phrase ‘coming out of the closet’, ‘wardrobe’ being a reference to the chronicles of narnia series.)
my son is finally coming out of the wardrobe, so so i don’t have to give the little b-st-rd any money for losing his teeth anymore.
