Paleocerebellum
paleocerebellum pa·le·o·cer·e·bel·lum (pā’lē-ō-sěr’ə-běl’əm)
n.
The phylogenetically old part of the cerebellum that includes most of the vermis as well as the adjacent medial zone of the cerebellar hemispheres rostral to the primary fissure. Also called spinocerebellum.
