an expression used in response to someone who accidentally or purposely trips you up at the worst possible time. usually occurs during moments of intense concentration or during a special moment. based on the president obama inaugural oath when chief justice john roberts incorrectly stated the words “that i will execute the office of president to the united states faithfully”; thereby causing president obama to pause and disrupting obama’s special moment. similar usage to don’t tase me bro
