a much improved team in the nba who beat the top seeded dallas mavericks in the first round of the 06-07 playoffs which became the biggest upset in nba history. mid 06-07 season, they traded mike dunleavy, troy murphy, ike diogu, and keith mcleoud for indiana’s stephen jackson, al harrington, josh powell, and sarunas jasikevicius. (it was a great trade for the warriors). baron davis is the star of the warriors, with backup from jason richardson. currently, the golden state warriors are coached by don nelson (former golden state warriors coach in 1994). this year, warriors sophmore guard, monte ellis, was awarded the most improved player award of the nba.

a team with a young trio of jason richardson, mike dunleavy, and troy murphy who on paper look like an exciting team. however they are coached by that dumb-ss coach who used to coach stanford named mike montgomery who doesn’t know sh-t how to play nba style and from the looks of it they are en route to miss the playoffs for a record straight 11 seasons.
lets go to a golden state warriors game in oakland coliseum and root for the opposite team.
former philly team who had wilt and won 3 nba championships; had some decent teams and won their 4th nba championship while in oakland, but haven’t been the same since the move in ’70; no playoff berths since ’94
the warriors looked good in ’03. but they’ll suck in ’04 since they didn’t resign their good players.
